Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop

I realize this will be my third post of the week for the class blog, but I have gotten really good at finding stuff out there that is applicable to the class.

The first is a song released by FLOTUS “in promotion of the U.S. government’s #62MillionGirls campaign which lays focus on seeking help for girls around the world who can’t go to school because of lack of opportunities.” This is not Michelle’s first rap and it is clear that empowering young women is a goal of hers. It has got quite a few big names singing in it, so I hope it is good. You can listen to it at the link below:

The second link is a Buzzfeed video that a friend showed me where society is flipped and men are treated like women in the workplace. He experiences gender roles, problems with ambition, the idea of inner circles/elitism, etc. I felt it was both comical and rather accurate, based on what we have read and studied this semester.
